Weeks 19-20...HALF BAKED!
Hello hello hello! Sitting here in week 1,395,304 of life in COVID times. Not much to do, but I know it is a luxury to be bored. What is not a luxury is to have your children be bored! Haha! They are being great sports, but the lack of freedom to come and go as we please is wearing on all of us. Especially in the winter, obviously. Lila has been SO crabby and restless, while the rest of the girls have actually been miraculously good at entertaining themselves (for the most part). Maeve is potty training...always a joy. Leenie and Kiki are working on their reading, and doing great! And, of course, my husband is back to his every week travel, which is rough. Yet, we solider on!
Some aggressive sister love!
This is how I feel literally every day.
These two are best friends. It could not be cuter.
This girl pooped on the potty twice this week! Woohoo!
This is her face most of the time these days. Grumpy girl!
We snuck a little screen time in this week!
When daddy is gone, we ALL have to bundle up from school drop-off/pick-up. Not my favorite thing. But Lila actually loves the outside time!
And of course, we are teaching ourselves to do new dangerous things. As if I wasn't having a hard enough time keeping up!
Yayyyyy for being half-baked!!!
This girl has been on a puzzle kick lately! She's such a smartie!
That's about it these days. I had an episode of really low blood pressure two days ago where I got really dizzy and had to lay down, but I've been okay since. I've had low blood pressure for years, maybe always? So that's not new, but obviously keeping an eye on it. I have my big 20-week MFM ultrasound next Tuesday, and I am nervous but excited. Hoping for nothing but good news and celebrating some new pictures! Praying that they don't tell me anything I don't need to know. Ya know?!
Also, did I mention that Leenie and my mom and I are (tentatively) planning a trip to FL in late February?! Assuming the world doesn't end before then?!?!? So, that's cool! I am nervous like I am about all trips, with the added fun of COVID mixed in there, but honestly it will be so nice to (hopefully) get away. I need it this year!!! And how fun to get away with two of my favorite ladies! I've never traveled one-on-one with one of my kids before, and I think it would be so special. She turns SIX next week, and is at such a fun and grown-up age. I love every minute of it. With all of them, actually!
Okay, onto bumps.
Gettin' big, y'all!!!
How far along? HALF-BAKED on the nose!
Clothing? This week, I bought all new maternity underwear, a few new bras, and two new pairs of leggings. I COULD. NOT. BREATHE. I feel so much better. Is this a huge baby or am I getting weak in my old age?!
Sleep? Tired all the time, but sleeping generally fine at night! Minus the nightly bathroom breaks!
Best moment of this week? Welcoming Tim home today!!! Getting lots of quality time with my girls! The big girls and I always pray nightly rosaries together when Tim is out of town. I treasure those quiet times so much.
Worst moment of this week? Nerves over my ultrasound, and weird low BP. And single parenting half the week. Otherwise, all good!
Miss anything? Wine :)
Movement? Definitely has picked up a little, but still craving more! I felt the first kick from the outside at 19w, which is so fun. I can't wait for the girls to feel it. They can't wait, either!!
Symptoms? Nauseous, but GI stuff is much better thank goodness! Round ligament pain, back pain, some lingering anxiety, CRAZY vivid dreams, dizzy, and peeing a lot.
Food cravings? Appetite has been hit or miss this week. Generally still craving desserts at night! Perfect, ha!
Gender? I might still have to guess boy.
Labor Signs? Nope!
Belly button in or out? That charming innie/outie that comes with many c-sections and a stretched out belly.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? Kinda frantic this week as I'm steering the ship on my own, but generally good. Happy. Excited!!!!
Looking forward to? Leenie's birthday next week, and her tea party birthday party this weekend! Maeve's birthday the following week! My 20+ week ultrasound next week!!!!
Until next time!
Congrat's you are soo cute preggo
