Weeks 21-22!

Even though it is absolutely freezing outside, the sun is shining, and it is a good day! I have PASSED THE HALF WAY MARK, we survived our first major snow (the most we've had in several years, actually...about 7-8 inches!) that thankfully happened on a day that Tim was in town (no way this pregnant mama can snow blow right now), and we have passed "birthday month"...all sorts of plans, preparations, and parties for Leenie and Maeve, culminating and ending in Maeve's third birthday yesterday. Woohoo!

My big six-year old girl before her birthday tea party...so grown up!

All set up for a tea party!

I was so glad her friends decided to come...one normal and fun afternoon in a crazy year!

SO beautiful!

Playing in the big snow!

Sweet girl.

So nice to always have a buddy!

Decorating her "pearl and rose petal" cake!

Spending extra time with this middle skittle. She had a particularly hard time with birthday month (since hers is not until May), which means we ALL had a hard time. We are all glad to get back to normal!

Maeve all dressed up!

Enjoying the leftover tea party gear!

This baby has been SOOOO crabby and following me everywhere, crying and pulling on my leg. I think it's teeth. It's been a rough one!

The birthday girl and I, on her actual birthday!

Dentist time! Brave Maeve went first!

Perfect teeth!

A little shy.

Loving her new cool PJs.

These two are adorable together.

Decorating some early Vday cookies.

Yum (and what a mess).

Hugs for Maevie on her birthday yesterday!

So there you have it! Trying to stay busy! Mostly failing at that, but we are surviving and having some fun in new and creative ways, so that counts for something. Also, had an amaaaazing 20-week scan at MFM last week, where I got to see this little angel!!!

My OB had warned me that this appt. would likely be a little rough, with lots of information and opinions I didn't necessarily need or want...but it was actually great! My doc said, and I quote, that the baby looks "PERFECT." Perfect size, perfect organs, and my placenta is in the absolute best spot it can be. He said that it looks like I have healed well from prior c-sections, and that I am "one of the lucky ones." WOOOO!!! I am so excited and relieved to have nothing to worry about (well, I'm still me, but ya know). I will go back at 30 weeks to check my uterine thickness and decide if I will deliver at 38 or 39 weeks. But it's all so exciting and positive. YAY!

Here's a bumpdate for ya!

How far along? 22w on the nose!
Clothing? Yeah, I'm huge. I cannot seem to stop gaining weight or getting bigger in the tummy area. I think I'm almost sized out of my regular clothes!
Sleep? I never sleep great when Tim is out of town, which he was last week. And Eileen peed the bed at 5 AM. And I get up to pee once/twice a night. Boo.
Best moment of this week? LOVED THAT ULTRASOUND! And celebrating my girls, what amazing little people they are!!!
Worst moment of this week? Weight gain has me bumming because I'm higher than I was with Lila, but that's life.
Miss anything? Wine :)
Movement? Movement has definitely picked up, and I am loving it! YAY!
Symptoms? Nauseous / GI stuff and feeling really bad in the AM until like 8ish...round ligament pain, back pain, CRAZY vivid dreams, and definite weight gain.
Food cravings? Trying to force myself to eat more produce. My MFM doc stressed how this would really help me feel better post surgery this time.
Gender? I might still have to guess boy.
Labor Signs? Nope!
Belly button in or out? That charming innie/outie that comes with many c-sections and a stretched out belly.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? Happy! Excited!!!!!
Looking forward to? Viability is two weeks away!!! And my mom, Leenie, and I are headed to FL soon...wooooohoooo!

Until next time!
