Weeks 30-31!

HAPPY OFFICIAL FALL! It is 80 degrees here today. WHAT'S UP?! I know I shouldn't wish warm weather away, and I know we have approximately 1 billion days of winter headed our way...but this mama cannot squeeze herself into shorts ANYMORE. Seriously. No one wants to see it, including me.

BIG NEWS TO SHARE TODAY! Barring any totally nutso unforeseen circumstances, we got out house!!! We received an offer two weeks ago, negotiated a price, and endured several totally stressful situations (86 year old father in law of male buyer coming during our inspection and telling them all of these things that were "wrong" with our house that actually weren't...then the couple wanted to bring in an architect and make sure they could definitely build out the house...etc. etc. etc. until we were totally losing our minds). Our inspection contingency period is DONE TOMORROW, and we will be well on our way to both BUYING AND SELLING. This is huge. We move 10/25, and have a baby 3 weeks later! AHHHHH!

So, yeah, we're pretty excited. And of course, in true me fashion, I'm getting emotional about it! I brought all of my babies home to this house and thought I would be bringing Snug home here, too. Of course, I am happy for so many reasons, it's just...weird. But good. GREAT. But weird.

We had a busy few weeks/weekend. We were godparents again to a little girl named Caroline, which was lovely. We've been doing TONS of activities/outside time. And we spent four days/three nights at a lake house in MI with my entire IL-extended family (8 adults, 7 kids). EXHAUSTING! But nothing much planned ahead, which is nice. Except for, ya know, packing an entire house. I'll take it!!!!

I can't get enough of how sweet these two are with each other (Kiki, I'm sure you will learn to tolerate your baby sister someday...haha!).

So there you have it, a few weeks in review. Busy, full, wonderful. Exhausting, too, but whose keeping track of that?! Seriously y'all, I am slowing down big time and genuinely gasping for breath a large part of the day. Baby, you must be WAY UP IN MY RIBS. Feel free to scoot down a little bit. Or, big kids, feel free to chill so I don't have to chase you 24/7. Either way!

How far along? 31 weeks today! SINGLE DIGIT WEEKS UNTIL BABY SNUG!

Clothing? So rough. Not cute. Don't care.

Stretch marks? Yes.

Sleep? This weekend at the lake was so rough. Slept on a sofa bed for three nights with screaming kids (and adults) all around me. Will take me a few days (week+) to recover.

Best moment of this week? WHEN WE ARE OFFICIALLY OUT OF CONTINGENCY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And of course every big hard kick / roll with you is something I treasure, Snug. I am so so so grateful for you.

Worst moment of this week? Really rough sleep / physically exhausted by this entire weekend. But I survived it, we all did, and that's what counts!!!

Miss anything? 9 weeks until wine. 

Movement? Yes, despite everything I have put my body through these last few weeks you are still kicking and moving so much! I love every second of it, even the ouchie ones.

Symptoms? Back is totally wrecked by the end of each day, to the point where I can barely walk. Super short of breath, especially while walking (even just around the house). Hard/sore kicks. Tooooons of Braxton Hicks. Generally feeling pretty awful, but also knowing I will miss this soon!

Food cravings? Didn't eat a ton at the lake house because I was too busy chasing kids. Because of that, my weight gain has been pretty good! However, ate a hot dog and an ice cream bar today, so, making up for lost time.

Gender? Had my first gender dream. GIRL. I am so confused!!!

Labor Signs? Nope, but so so so many BH's!

Belly button in or out? Outie.

Wedding rings on or off? Fingers very swollen, but rings still on!

Mood? So relieved and excited about our new home! So so excited to meet our new baby in just a few weeks! So blessed by my family and generally so so happy.

Looking forward to? My 32-week appt next week, where I MIGHT have a growth ultrasound?! I can't wait to see you again, Snug! Also, excited for tomorrow for our contract to be finalized. Halloween. Pumpkins, baking, snuggling. Moving. And then BABY.
