Weeks 26-27!

Hello, and happy almost September! Can you believe it?! We can't. I swear, every year summer gets shorter. We are doing well this week(s); our home contingency expired, but we did get a two-week renewal, so we are still in the waiting game. Are we moving? Are we staying?! I sure wish someone would tell us!!! Throw some prayers up to St. Joseph for us, if you don't mind!!!!

Tim was gone all of last week, and after 4+ weeks at my mom's house and NO action/showings at our house, I was over the whole "living away" thing. So last Wednesday, I snapped and threw ALL of our stuff back in the car and moved us home. The kids were really missing the house (mostly their toys!), so they were thrilled. I'm thrilled too, really. Except for the whole "my house is a mess and if we DO magically start getting showings I am the one who will have to clean it up with 5 minutes lead time thing." Oh, and now that we're home, my amazing sleeper baby is now not sleeping without 30+ minutes of tears first. Currently listening to that and trying not to lose my cool. Ahhhhhhhh. Total first world problems, and at least life is not boring, right?!

Other than that, all good. We have a slow weekend coming up, and I'm looking forward to taking it easy and soaking up the rest of this nice weather. Best of all, it IS finally nice! This is the weather we were hoping for all summer, not that 99 degree garbage we got! Ah, well. Maybe next summer?!

Seesawing with our best buds.

Swinging our cares away (once you put her in, she won't get out!)

Celebrated Tim's big 3-3!

Ice cream, naturally.

Getting artsy.

Successful dentist visit! Girls were so brave, and I was so proud!

My sweet twinsies (as Kiki calls it).

Summer girl!

More seesaws!

Best buds.

Love that little face.

Backyard pool time!

"Multitasking" ha!

Splash pad!

While we still can!

This baby loves the water.

That's us! I have my 28-week appointment and glucose test early next week; after that, I start going every two weeks. HUH?! How are we here already?!?!?! So so so excited that we are getting closer to baby. But also kind of in shock. Am I really about to have FOUR BABIES?! How will I ever leave the house?! HA!

BUMP.

Last bump pic as a guest at my mom's house. 26 weeks!

Home sweet home, and feeling HUGE. 27 weeks!

How far along? 27 weeks!
Clothing? SO OVER DRESSES AND SHORTS. Please let me hide my expanding waistline/everything else in leggings and long sleeved shirts!
Stretch marks? Yep.
Sleep? Haven't gotten great sleep this week, but I've been going to bed late, so that's my own fault. Glad to be back in my own bed!
Best moment of this week? We had an awesome summer weekend this past weekend, lots of relaxation and outside time and smores, the works. So nice when we are able to capture those magical moments...can't wait to add another runt to the litter and share that joy even more!
Worst moment of this week? This house thing is honestly dragging on forever, and I'm over it. I just need some direction. St. Joseph, intercede for us! (also dropped a full metal water bottle on my foot and really screwed it up. So. very inconvenient.)
Miss anything? Knowing whether or not I will be living in a new house shortly. HA.
Movement? Tons. Belly shaking, crazy kicks. Love this part and never want it to end!
Symptoms? Craaaazy heart burn, weight gain, major back pain if I "overdo it" (i.e. do normal stuff), super sore boobs, sore lower back...definitely moving into that third tri and all that comes with it!
Food cravings? I've been good about fruits and veggies lately, so that helps me curb my "ALL I WANT IS JUNK FOOD" mania. My poor scale.
Gender? A woman came up to me at Trader Joe's this week and said "I have three girls, and just had a boy a few months ago! It can happen!" CAN IT?! WHO KNOWS!!!
Labor Signs? Nah.
Belly button in or out? Outie.
Wedding rings on or off? Fingers very swollen all of the sudden, but rings still on!
Mood? Happy. We have had a great few weeks despite these house shenanigans. We are richly blessed.
Looking forward to? 28 weeks and the THIRD TRIMESTER! Bring it on, Snug!!!

Have a great week!
