Ohhhhhhhh boy.

What a long, long, long week. It's only Tuesday, you say?! Then why do I feel like pulling all of my hair out and hiding underneath my desk at the same time?!?!

I do NOT wait well. This is a proven fact. But man, this is the worst. ONE more day.

I know how you feel, Jim.

So, another rebellious LATE LITTLE HAPPIES POST!!!!!!!! Enjoy, and pretend along with me that waiting for our dreams to come true is not the most physically/mentally/spiritually exhausting task on this planet.

Because, after all, like every day on God's green earth, there is much to be happy about. And so, here we go.

1. LUV YA

My husband fell asleep like this on the train the other day. I know I already posted a creeper shot last week, but this one was sorta (cheesy) precious, so I thought, one more won't hurt.

2. SISTERS

Hey la, hey laaaaaaa, my sister's back! Woohoo! That cutie in pink goes to school in Michigan, and is finally home for the summer! To celebrate, I hosted a few of the coolest ladies in my life for dinner last weekend. Yes, Molls is wearing her Chipotle uniform, and my mom is clearly mid-giggle. Love them, and love when we can spend quality time together...ESPECIALLY when food and (very little) wine is involved!

3. NO FILTER

The "no filter" craze on Instagram has bugged me for awhile. But I thought, maybe I just haven't given it a fair shot.

Turns out...I was right. Filters exist for a reason.

4. GROCERIES

T did the grocery shopping for me this weekend!!! What a swell guy. As you can see, my lists are very specific and short...we are on a tight budget, after all (saving for potential adoptions)! Still, he stuck to my list AND the budget, and even came back with a bonus PB&J candy bar from TJ's. Victory, and a sweet one at that.

5. PER USUAL, FAMILY

Little Happies wouldn't be complete without a family shot. We spent Mother's Day afternoon at a nearby restaurant sipping on margs, chowing down on some guac, and shooting spitballs at each other (love having brothers). And that cutie in the teal is my cousin, who is staying with us for a few weeks! It was a big, loud, fun, awesome, silly, crazy, perfect afternoon celebrating my mama. Wouldn't have it any other way!

6. PER USUAL, MAGNIFICAT

Happy Feast of our Lady of Fatima! Instead of consecrating today as I originally planned, I consecrated instead on Mother's Day. Although it was not technically a Marian feast day, I felt strongly called to finish on Sunday, and I am glad I did. I feel stronger and more at peace (well, not today, but in general) already. I highly recommend going through the consecration process if you, too, feel called to it. What an awesome Mother we have, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to give my life to her and her Perfect Son.

So, yes, I will POAS tomorrow morning. But I've decided that I can't post results until I have a beta done, too. You guys, I am so plagued by doubt. Symptoms still look good and suggest positive results (mouth on floor, I know), but the devil is actively trying to steal  my joy. Please pray that I can STAY POSITIVE and that, if it's God's will, I can celebrate what would truly be a miracle. As a newly consecrated daughter of Mary, I am offering all of this into her hands, so that she can offer it directly to her Son. I am ready to accept whatever God has planned for me...if only I can keep breathing for ONE MORE DAY.

Prayers for all of you, as usual, that you have a blessed feast day, and that God fills your hearts with the peace that only He can provide.

xoxoxoxoxoxo times a billion,

  3. Oh my goodness, I will be praying for tomorrow and checking back to see what the results are (and please, please, please, if you get a BFP, please go get the beta the same day…don't leave us hanging in suspense). Okay, sorry, if that came off a bit nosy. :) Regarding your Little Happies - #4 is awesome. I have learned the hard, hard, hard way that not providing specific quantities to my DH when he does the grocery shopping is a bad thing because yes, the grocery bill is usually way over what I was planning.

    1. Not nosy at all! And trust me, beta was done FIRST THING this morning so I will hopefully be posting soon with the updates. Thanks for your kindness and for checking up on me :) And YES my hubs is like a kid in a candy store when he grocery shops, hence the VERY SPECIFIC lists! Good to know I'm not alone there!!

  6. I'm SO with you with the #nofilter hashtag. It's so silly! People waaaayyyy overuse it. Do they know they're only supposed to use it when the picture is GORGEOUS and therefore doesn't need a filter?? I think we need to make a Public Service Announcement!
