A 'Two Fer,' as TBone Would Say...
Double-posting today to report that Doctor just called with the beta, another great number!!! Up to 3,207. Progesterone is still sky-high at 330.
Still having crazy back aches that are terrible come nighttime. Anyone have this? The doctor thinks it is my uterus changing/growing and isn't worried, but I've had to sleep with my heated rice pad every night think week. Ouch. Still, no complaints, just curious if anyone else has experienced this.
Doc also said that he thinks the persistent brown CM might be due to an "ectropion"...I tend to be up on pregnancy terms due to being an obsessive Googler/researcher/etc., but I've never heard of this. Wi.ki tells us that it is "a condition in which the central (endocer.vical) columnar epithelium protrudes out through the external os of the cer.vix and onto the va.ginal portion of the cer.vix, undergoes squamous metaplasia, and transforms to stratified squamous epithelium. Although not an abnormality, it is indistinguishable from early cer.vical cancer; therefore, further diagnostic studies (e.g., Pap smear, biopsy) must be performed for a differential diagnosis." Ummmm? Doc says it's really no big deal, and could also be the source of the behind-the-belly-button-tugging-pain I've been feeling, but I have no idea what to think? Are there any moms who have experienced this? Your wisdom is invaluable to me.
My first ultrasound is schedule for next Friday, and it will bring MANY emotions with it. I have had two "first ultrasounds" before, both of which have been fraught with anxiety and ultimately pain. I have faith that this one will be different.
Jesus, I trust in You. Have a wonderful Holiday Weekend, all.
I often had back pain. Used the same relief ( homemade rice bags ). My uterus was tilted back, not sure if that played into the back pain.
ReplyDeleteBack pain is the worst! And I do have a tilted uterus, so that may well be part of it. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing!!
DeleteLet's get prayers going for a healthy, normal ultrasound!
