37-38 Weeks...HERE WE GO!!!!!!!
WE HAVE ARRIVED. I will deliver tomorrow at 5:30 PM CST. I am feeling all sorts of things...happy, sad, nervous, bittersweet...but overall, we are SO OVER THE MOON EXCITED TO MEET THIS BABY!!!
We have basically just been in survival mode these past two weeks. All of the sudden it is in the high 80's, which is bad timing, but we are making the most of it! Here's us:
We had an amazing fifth birthday party for our sweet Kiki (who actually turns 5 this Monday)!
We love you, Kiki!
She requested an over-the-top rainbow birthday cake. I'm not good for much these days, but I was happy to make this wish come true! I thought it came out super fun!
Birthday girl!
My littlest is sucking her thumb extra these days, probably coping with the change in the air...melts my heart. You'll always be my baby, Bug!
Adjusting to life with no naps (a necessary change to make bedtime with all three big girls in the same room work). Some days we win, some days we lose!
Lila's first time at the "big kid table" for pizza movie Friday...she was pretty excited!
Getting in lots of park time with Daddy!
Sweet cuddles on the couch...this was a spontaneous moment, believe it or not!
I will so miss tiny hands on my big belly.
Leenie learned to ride a two-wheeler bike this weekend! She is so grown up!
And of course, Frozen Frozen Frozen every day Frozen.
Swinging our cares away!
Enjoying our last park date as a family of six!
Sweet girl.
This poor girl got so nauseous after we were done!
Acting super silly at swim lessons!
And that's all she wrote! I was actually feeling under the weather this week and got super panicked about COVID all of the sudden. Luckily I'm negative, so all good! I also have had what I think is SPD hit this week, especially today, and literally I can barely walk. At least I only have ONE DAY TO GO. SAY WHAT?! My doctor said at my last appointment that even though Babes is head down, he/she is not engaged nor have they dropped into my pelvis at all. Not dilated, not effaced, not nothin'. So I hope and pray that you are ready to come out safely, Babes. We are ready to meet you!!!

Large and in charge!
How far along? 37&6!!!!
Clothing? Rough. This hot weather does not bring out my best looks at this point...ha! But I did get a no chip mani and pedi this weekend, so at least part of me feels pulled together!
Sleep? Staying up way too late with Tim watching reality TV! Also, having intense hip pain this last week while I sleep...I've had that before, but managed to avoid it this time....until now!
Best moment of this week? Uhh....BABY?!?!?!?!?!
Worst moment of this week? Surgery...I always get super super nervous. But after surgery comes BABY so obviously a worthwhile tradeoff!!!!
Miss anything? Cannot wait for my first glass of champagne, maybe next weekend?!
Movement? Babes has definitely slowed down into that late third tri pattern of not acting quite so crazy, but still getting lots of pokes and rolls. Love it. Miss it already. I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING.
Symptoms? Intense nausea these past few weeks to the point where I lost a little weight and really wasn't eating much. Dizzy, bad GI stuff/diarrhea for a few days (which I worried was COVID), intense sciatica/possibly SPD, bad back pain, terrible round ligament pain, sooooo many Braxton Hicks, just...rough! But we're at the end, people!
Food cravings? Not a lot this week because of nausea, but I am super excited for my "last meal" of sushi tonight and a big breakfast from a local spot tomorrow AM before I officially have to stop eating and drinking!
Gender? SO MANY PEOPLE ARE GUESSING BOY. Like, so many. So for the fun of it, I will go in guessing boy...even though it's so hard for me to imagine!!!
Labor Signs? Not officially, though I definitely feel like I am at the END.
Belly button in or out? So far out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off, and I miss them!
Mood? All of the things. But EXCITEDDDDD most of all!!!!!!!
Looking forward to? BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We did it, y'all!!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO BABES, SO SO SO SOON!!!
XOXO
