24 Weeks...V-day and V-DAY!

Happy V-day and V-DAY, everyone! That is, viability and Valentine's day. What a great, great week!

The week started off a little rough with my baby getting a nasty cold (that she's still not fully over). And passing that cold to me, and to T (which we are still not fully over). Which meant lots of crying, boogers, and couch cuddles. I don't care for the first two things, but LOVE that last one.

But despite our sicknesses, we did manage to sneak in some bible study with nana, some snow-gazing, and general adorableness, as always.

But the week ended with TWO, count them, TWO double dates (that's right, Friday and Saturday night...T and I are cool again, I guess?). I only mention it because we have not gone out both weekend nights in ages. We had great food and spent time with some close friends, it was simply lovely. And of course, T surprised me with chocolate, donuts, and bacon on Sunday morning. Aw. What a guy.

All culminating in the amazing SECOND v-day, viability day for baby Sunny! I just got back from my 24-week appointment and got to hear my favorite sound in the world, the 'thump thump thump' of a little baby's heartbeat, a strong 145-150 bpm (another girl?!). It sure makes me happy!!!

So, onto my ashtag BUMP. And, by the way, that shirt barely fits me (already).

Oy.

How far along?  24 weeks! VIABILITY! I read some updates today on What to Expect and it said that by now my baby's facial features are fully formed. For some reason, this really hit me. I will have another ADORABLE BABY with cute little cheeks to squeeze so so soon!

Clothing? Sketchy at best. HA! I just looked at my 24 week pic with Eileen and that was a mistake...oops.

Stretch marks? Yuh.

Sleep? Poor T has been coughing up a storm lately...that + my fat belly have made for less than restful sleep this week.

Best moment of this week? Hearing sunny's heartbeat today!!! An amazing v-day, and reaching MY amazing v-day with Sunny!!!

Worst moment of this week? Feeling under the weather and taking care of my sick girl.

Miss anything? Nah.

Movement? Yes, this little one is so much more active than Ei was! And I am LOVING IT!!!

Symptoms? Some metallic taste in my mouth...less than stellar sleep...back pain...insatiable hunger...and upper linea nigra is finally back! Oh, and I officially can't bend over without squatting. CUTE.

Food cravings? Chocolate. Desserts. Carbs. Trying so hard to reign it in, but it's so hard!

Gender? Ummm I mean, feeling girl, but I am not AS positive as I was!

Labor Signs? No siree.

Belly button in or out? Out, and Eileen has been poking it out of curiosity lately. Pretty funny.

Wedding rings on or off? On, but JUST noticed a bit of swelling today!

Mood? So very happy.

Milestones? VIABILITY BABY!!!!! 

Looking forward to? My 28-week appointment, and SPRING!!!!

This week's pregnancy-small-talk-gems (aka things other people say to pregnant ladies without thinking): Nothing this week, other than lots of sympathetic looks from strangers (I'm only 24 weeks, people)!
