Week 22!

Here we are at 22 weeks, two short weeks from viability! Always a big milestone for me. Feels good. And time is moving more quickly these days, which is nice, too!

I am hanging in there. Starting to have some cramps/growing pains in my tummy, which makes sense, because I am even bigger (seemingly overnight) all of the sudden. My weight is creeping up there, too. Which is okay, because really, my body seems to do the same thing every time. I am a vessel. It's important to remind myself of that.

We had a busy week and weekend! The weather has still been very warm, but we were able to sneak in some fun fall activities on Sunday. We went to a local garden store for a fall festival and got to play on a train, jump in a bounce house, pick out pumpkins, eat some apple cider donuts, and ride on ponies! And I actually brought my big girl camera, so I got some good shots. I've been lazy with my photography lately, so I was proud of myself. The girls had a blast, and so did we!

Jumping!

Choo choo with dad.

DONUTS.

 That smirk seriously kills me.

Picking out pumpkins that are just our size!

A rare shot of me and my baby!

Loved the pony rides.

And of course, I had to ride the train too. Waving to my adoring fans.

All great fun. And I was able to get out my big girl camera again for a lovely fall photo shoot with the girls the next day, which I have been meaning to do for a few weeks. A small accomplishment, I know, but since I've been USELESS lately, I felt pretty successful!

Fall photos: CHECK! So proud of my little models. A few other random things that we did this week...

We avoided the scale, naturally.

I had to go in and get a "wellness check" for Tim's insurance, which I had to fast for, which was miserable. I tried to "fast" overnight and get in first thing the next morning, but of course they were running behind, etc. I was STARVING. Then they send me my results which are very vague and confusing but basically said I was "at risk" in like 10 categories which, after being reviewed by my OB, were all totally consistent with pregnancy. Thanks for nothing, dumdums.

We played outside in weather inappropriate clothes because I forget to check the forecast until we're dressed, and inevitably we are in hoodies in 90 degree and weather and shorts for 60 and below. Get with it, mom.

Halloween costumes have arrived! Yes, you guessed it, Peppa and George. Will I never be rid of them?! At least the kids are STOKED!

And of course, the bump! I swear whenever I take these I look HUGE in the mirror and smaller in photos. It's big, just trust me.

How far along? 21 weeks + 6 days!
Clothing? Switching into that fall wardrobe. Scored a couple of very very cheap things at Old Navy...excited about that!
Stretch marks? Yes.
Sleep? Tossing and turning a lot. Crazy dreams. But I realized last night that I have not had those terrible leg cramps since my pregnancy with Eileen so, that's great! Knock on wood.
Best moment of this week? Some hard kicks, that's so fun! Eileen is getting excited to feel those and asks to "feel the baby kick" all the time...probably a few more weeks before I can coordinate that. Had a LOVELY fall weekend with my little family. Feeling very blessed.
Worst moment of this week? Eileen is fighting naps this week. AHHHHHH. Also, my cabinet shelf collapsed yesterday and I had .5 seconds to get like 10 glass jars off before everything shattered. Nothing break, thank goodness, but it was not a good situation.
Miss anything? Doing fine.
Movement? Getting slightly more pronounced and slightly more regular, which is so fun!
Symptoms? BIGGER overnight. Some cramping and pulling. Tired, out of breath easily. But my skin has been great lately...I'll take that one perk!
Food cravings? Sweets, especially APPLES. Caramel, raw, you name it.
Gender? All of the sudden I'm feeling girl again. THREE GIRLS?! Our home might implode.
Labor Signs? Nope.
Belly button in or out? Outie.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? Nervous to leave my girlies and hubs this weekend to go to Boston, but I am looking forward to some time away. Bittersweet!
Looking forward to? Boston, and coming home from Boston to my kiddos! My 24-week appt. and VIABILITY are just around the corner, too!

Happy October, friends!
