Indiana Baby Shower!
Hello lovely ladies (and gentlemen)!
I thought I would pop in on a Monday to share some photos from my Indiana Baby Shower yesterday. The event was lovingly hosted by my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law, and the whole day was a huge success! We snacked on brunch food including a waffle bar (I definitely went back for seconds!), and had some DELICIOUS dessert of chocolate chip cheesecake and homemade monkey bread. My mother-in-law coordinated all of the decor, including bringing out her special "vintage" plates because she knows I love them, and no detail was overlooked! We chatted, played games, and guests decorated keepsake bibs for me to bring home. It was a wonderful and very special day.
Also, can I just say how surreal it was to be attending MY baby shower? I cannot tell you how I used to dread these events, how they used to make me sick with envy (terrible, I know) and overwhelmed with grief. But to be sitting at the front of the crowd, opening up tiny little outfits and towels and accessories for MY child...well, there is just no way to describe that feeling, other than...indescribable.
And so, without further ado, some PICTURES! Please ignore my triple chins, although my SIL is an awesome photographer I don't think there was much she could do to capture my "good" angles...ha!

Sharing some giggles with my niece and goddaughter, Adelyn!
Digging into the mound of gifts!
My mom wrapped her present in a particularly difficult way...thanks, mom!
Opening a VERY special gift...a hand-crocheted blanket from Grandma Holi!
...and comparing that blanket to T's baby blanket! Convinced he must have been chomping on this bad boy in his sleep, hilarious!
A picture with all of the aunts-in-law!
And a picture of my lovely cousins-in-law!
Bibs! I cannot wait to try these on my little one!
My nephew Ike and "Baby Olaf" (his nickname for our baby...so cute)!
Me with the lovely hostesses, plus two of my favorite tikes!
That's all for now! I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend and ate lots and lots (we sure did). Until Wednesday...
P.S. It is OFFICIALLY the month before my peanut's birthday!!!!!!!!!
