39 Weeks...That's All She Wrote!

HERE WE ARE! 39 Weeks. My c-section is in two days. And I am ready.

But, am I entirely ready to say good-bye to my special one-on-one time with this girl?

No. Then again, I know that our life is about to become so much richer. Forgive your mama for being sappy, kids. I love you both so much, but change (even the best kind of change) can be such a bittersweet thing!

I did, however, get to have one more "adult night out" with this guy last night. We really tore it up with some chili, nachos, chocolate cake to-go, and home by 9 PM!

So, here we go. As far as symptoms go, I am starting to have a REALLY hard time sleeping, and every time I eat I have crazy digestive trouble and heartburn. I am having a hard time walking still, because sunny is so low, and I am still having on-again-off-again contractions. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I have some lovely melasma covering the right side of my face. All in all, I am ready to have this baby. Of course, in true "me" fashion, I am already starting to miss being pregnant. I know I know, HUH?! Aren't you miserable??!! Physically yeah, kinda, but there is just nothing like growing a little life inside of you. Especially after you couldn't for so long. Of course, I don't have to tell you ladies that.

And so, one last bump shot from last night...

That's all she wrote, folks. BRING ON THE BABY!!!!!

We are ready.
