31 Weeks!

Woah baby! The weeks are both crawling and racing by at the same time. Is that possible? Well, it must be, because it's true. Some days I'm like WHAT, WE'RE HAVING A BABY IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS?! Other days I'm like dude...WE HAVE ALMOST TWO WHOLE MONTHS LEFT?!??! But the bigger part of my brain always loves (and always will) being pregnant and so I am reveling in these last weeks of baby kicks, nesting, and yes, even waddling. It is a magical time. And, as I have said so many times, I do not ever take it for granted.

We had a great week! My sisters, mom, and I spent a wonderful weekend in the city celebrating my mom's 60th birthday, and had a blast. We ate deep dish pizza, had afternoon tea at the Drake, and generally just hung out and spent time together, which we actually never do (with just the girls, that is)! It was so fun, and I hope we can do it again soon.

Enjoying the scones!

Partying with the best ladies I know!

DEEP DISH!

Also this week: Miss Charlotte Ruth turned EIGHTEEN MONTHS OLD and had her check-up, which is always great fun (shots-->screaming kids-->germ-laden waiting room toys-->etc.). But, in fun news, she is OFF THE CHARTS in height for her age! Hilarious. I am 5'0" and Tim is 6'1" so we've always known it would be a genetic crap shoot, but I do not know how to process this news. I have a TALL DAUGHTER?! How will we share clothes!?!?! Sigh, oh well.

My sweet, sweet girl.

Lights up every room.

We also saw Santa, and, well, that resulted in the following photo:

Pretty standard, right?! Ha!

I am rushing to get downtown for Tim's holiday party, so I will skip right to the short-and-sweet and the BIG OLE BUMP!

Hotel room this past weekend. Walked SO MUCH, and paid for it later!

How far along? 31+1!!! Gettin' there!
Clothing? Shorts are TOO SHORT. I may have to buy a few more to hold me over. Ahhhh.
Stretch marks? Yes!
Sleep? Kids are waking up too early (today we were watching the Grinch in bed at 6 AM...not my preference). Also tossing and turning all night. But sleeping some, so, I will take it...I know what's coming!
Best moment of this week? We had SUCH A NICE TIME DOWNTOWN this weekend! Also have gotten some wonderful cuddles from my girlies this week. Love celebrating the Christmas season with them and T.
Worst moment of this week? Norovirus is going around and SIX KIDS THREW UP at the all-school Mass we attended this morning...so...praying that the worst is not ahead of us.
Miss anything? Hanging in there.
Movement? Yes, but officially slowing down a bit. I love the kicks and always get a little nervous when they slow down, though I know it's normal. Baby is still sideways most of the day, with lots of rib kicking towards the evening. Hurts, but as always, I will take it!
Symptoms? Lots of BH, sore stinging ribs, sore sides from the baby's weird positioning, peeing allllll the time, very sore back and hips. Screwed my feet up walking around all weekend, but starting to feel a little better. Feeling very lightheaded/spacey pretty much all of the time.
Food cravings? Can't even go to Trader Joe's anymore with all of the delicious holiday food out. HOT COCOA PUFFS. Eating those by the bowl-full.
Gender? IDK y'all. Let's say girl.
Labor Signs? Nope.
Belly button in or out? Outie.
Wedding rings on or off? On...for now.
Mood? EXCITED. STRESSED. TIRED. OVERWHELMED. SO HAPPY.
Looking forward to? My 32-week appointment next Tuesday!!!! My mom's birthday party next weekend!!!!!!! Christmas!!!!!!! Eileen's birthday!!!!!!!!!!! Baby Bud's birthday!!!!!!

Happy Christmas celebrating, everyone!
