26 Weeks!
HAPPY BELATED HALLOWEEN! We are pooped. Holidays are always so much fun leading up to them, and so exhausting in actuality, amirite?!
Peppa and George with Aunt Cece and Pop!
Yes, this is my parents as Hansel and Zoolander. Speechless, right?
My kiddos.
Her first "mobile" Halloween was a rather slow endeavor.
In all fairness, mama was moving pretty slow, too.
Eileen posing (deliriously) next to her loot.
Since Tuesday she has asked me every morning if it's still Halloween, and when we can go trick-or-treating. Sigh. She takes after her dad, who is the all time biggest candy fan I know. In fact, after Eileen came home from her second round of trick-or-treating and finally staggered off to bed, Tim gathered up ALL of the candy and hid it on the highest shelf of our pantry, a shelf that only HE can reach (I am 5'0", he is 6'1"). Nice, right?!
Besides Halloween, we have been taking it easy, or trying to. My parents are gone in LA for the week and Tim has been traveling off and on for work, so there's not a lot on the books, officially. Still, we find ways to fill our time.
Like wearing stuffed animals on our heads.
And taking pink baths, because why not?
And trying, but failing, to take an adorable photo with raspberries on our fingertips.
...someone kept trying to eat hers.
HA! Someone asked me recently if I am "super bored on a regular basis" as a stay-at-home mom. I thought this question was hilarious. Words that come to mind are...busy...crazy...want-to-pull-my-hair-out...losing my mind...but having fun doing it...boredom doesn't make the list, really. Finding ways to fill our days is not always easy, but the creativity needed to fill those hours makes each day slightly different from the last, which keeps all of us on our toes. SAHM's out there, know what I mean?!
With temps suddenly in the 40s this week, I am grateful to have this big ole bump to keep me warm.
How far along? 26 weeks! Creeping towards that third tri!
Clothing? BUNDLED UP THIS WEEK. Cold. Brrrr.
Stretch marks? Yes.
Sleep? Not great, but slightly better than it has been. But I keep waking up on my back and freaking out! I've never had this problem in pregnancy before...I can't seem to stay on my side!
Best moment of this week? Hard kicks on a regular basis! Trick-or-treating with my kiddos! Finishing up a work deadline so that I can actually RELAX during naptime...which, for the moment, seems to be back on!
Worst moment of this week? Missing everyone who has been traveling lately!
Miss anything? A glass of wine (or two) sure would taste good on these cold nights...
Movement? Yes! Lots of hard kicks, and baby is constantly moving in my tummy from high to low, ribs to groin...I know he won't have that much room soon, so I am loving it!
Symptoms? Sleepy, sore, and lots of hip/back pain when I "do too much" (i.e. walking around the block once to trick or treat, etc.). Hungry. Headaches. And hormonal break outs...charming.
Food cravings? Just bought four muffins at the grocery store that I am pretty excited about. Still baked goods, I guess!
Gender? Still kind of feeling girl.
Labor Signs? Nope.
Belly button in or out? Outie.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Mood? A bit more relaxed now that Eileen is taking some mini naps again. Honestly, one hour to myself during the day makes SUCH A DIFFERENCE.
Looking forward to? The weekend! November! Thanksgiving! 28 week appointment! All of the things and more!
That's it for now...have a great week!
Congrats on baby #3! Yes, some days as a stay at home mommy are long..so long. Sounds like having two children and soon three keeps you busy.
