Week 19!
Hello. I have no creative juice this week. That cold that I casually mentioned last week is still not totally gone, I'm not sleeping well, and I'm just tired in general. What else is new, right?
Have a great week!
Hanging out with my two littlest babies (and Mummy Pig, naturally).
I guess that extra energy that I got when I went veg/vegan a few weeks ago was a fluke, because it's gone. I also forgot how crummy the common cold is when you're pregnant. Okay, rant over.
Pouting, even though life is great, really! (And yes, another Peppa doll. My life is Peppa).
Getting creative by going to a new park while the weather is still nice!
Lunch at a new spot with nana! (Enjoy my awk reflection in the window...oops!)
She is quiet, but also so so silly. A combination I absolutely love. Here she is cuddling up on the floor like a goofball...my sweet girl.
Ain't nobody comin' between this girl and her chalk (and the top of the chalk container, it appears).
Trying on Peppa hats at Target (a purchase was not made, don't worry, Tim)!
Cruisin'!
The picture of mid-afternoon exhaustion.
And, in big news, my BIG BIG GIRL started sleeping in her big girl bed this week! We are so proud of her!
If you would've caught me 10 minutes ago, I would've told you that the transition from crib to bed has been absolutely seamless. However, that was before Leenie popped out of her room like a little gopher and had to nap instead in her crib today. Still, baby steps. So strange to have a full twin-sized bed in her room...really does feel like she's growing up, and fast. I haven't hit an age yet that I haven't loved...slow down, time. Please?
So, yeah. The girls are back to 100% healthy which is awesome, and I'm getting there, slowly but surely! We spent our second weekend in a row in IN this past weekend, which was draining, but the girls enjoyed playing with their cousins. I'm so glad to have a bit of a break though, at least for a little bit. The rest of the week will be pretty low key...grocery shopping and a playdate, plus our very first visit from our very first ever CLEANING LADY TOMORROW. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I am so, so, SO thankful for the help, and especially now, because my house is disgusting.
Ok, bump stuff.
Pre-double date with our friends this weekend! Other than special occasions, it's leggings every day from here on out.
How far along? 18 weeks + 6 days!
Clothing? Moving into that "leggings only" phase pretty quickly. And I'm okay with that.
Stretch marks? Yes.
Sleep? Slightly better these last few days, but still not great. Oh well.
Best moment of this week? I did feel and even see some rolling-type movements a few nights ago, which was awesome. Leenie sleeping in her big girl bed (not right this second, but still)! Also, I just had the most amazing "banana hazelnut toaster pastry" thing from Panera. Bar set pretty low. Ha!
Worst moment of this week? I spilled a whole tray of dirty water all over my floor this morning and then dropped an entire coffee cake on the floor. So, that was a bummer.
Miss anything? Sleep. Wine. The usual.
Movement? Yes, but honestly I thought I would be feeling more by now! I am dying for the more regular stuff...according to my records, weeks 20 and beyond are where I usually start to feel that. I'm ready!
Symptoms? Tired, and nose is really giving me trouble post-cold. Achy, and lots of headaches/light headed lately.
Food cravings? Still potato chips like crazy, and salty stuff in general. Boy?!
Gender? We'll say boy for now?!
Labor Signs? Nope.
Belly button in or out? I'm gonna say officially out.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? Happy, despite any little thing I might complain about.
Looking forward to? MY 20 WEEK ULTRASOUND NEXT TUESDAY! HALF BAKED, WOOHOO!
