Weeks 14 & 15... Combo Post, What a Loser!

Of course, right after I said I wasn't going to do "combo posts" in the last entry...here I am, and another week has gotten away from me. I am sorry, baby Bud. I love you just as much, I am just one and two times busier than I was with your sisters!

We have had a lovely and eventful week! My brother Joe is in town visiting from LA, and we've been able to soak up lots of fun uncle time. And for me, it's great having all of my siblings in one place again, even temporarily. I have a wonderful family, and I never take that for granted. Even if we do bicker....just a little.

Yes, I did have about an inch of red wine...and I paid for it with TERRIBLE heartburn, haha!

We've been to the zoo, to the pool, out for Indian food, and much more. We will be so sad to say goodbye to Uncle Jojo at the end of the week! And, doubly sad, my brother Matty is going back to college on the same day. Boo. I can't believe it's almost fall.

But it's not fall yet! So I am reveling in these amazing summer days and wonderful warm weather memories. It has been an awesome summer.

My sweet sweet kiddos. Fall and winter will be just as special with you two...albeit exhausting. What are we going to do when I am even BIGGER and we can't play outside?! Veteran mamas, any tips?!?! Like, for real?!?!?!?!?!?

On to the bump news!

14 weeks, lookin' kinda emo!

15 weeks...helped coordinate a wedding with a friend, and had to squeeze this bump into a non-maternity dress. Won't be able to get away with that for much longer!

How far along? 14 weeks + 6 days!
Clothing? Hanging in there, but feeling pudgy. It always sneaks up on me in odd places first, like my arms, my cheeks, etc. Have gained about as much weight at this point as I had with my girls, maybe slightly less. But honestly, whatever. Ain't my first rodeo.
Stretch marks? My stretch marks have stretch marks.
Sleep? Not very comfy at night, but sleeping in between pee breaks. Tummy is sore already from the weight of my bump hanging when I sleep on my side. Nightmares this week! Ahhh! Oh, and still napping most afternoons when I can. I think I was done with naps at this point with Kiki. Ooops.
Best moment of this week? More flutters, and tiny pops! Also, FINDING OUT THAT MY BEST FRIEND IS PREGNANT! She has been trying for like eight months, so this is amazing news. Twin bumps! God is good! Also, spending much needed and greatly appreciated time with my family, especially my bro. Family time is my favorite sort of time.
Worst moment of this week? Nightmare a few nights ago! No fun. Also, having some brutal heartburn and kind-of-crippling exhaustion this week. Cmon second trimester, where's that "clearing" I usually find?!
Miss anything? So, controversial, and "trendy,"but for a lot of reasons too numerous to get into here, my fam and I are in the process of trying to switch to a "mostly plant-based" diet. Go ahead and roll your eyes, I totally get it. So...yeah. I miss cheeseburgers.
Movement? YES! (I think?!?! Shouldn't I know for sure my third time around?!?! Haha!)
Symptoms? Fatigueeeee, heartburn/indigestion, sore belly, mild nausea, some dizziness, not great sleep, and keep having that "rubber band snapping" feeling in my tummy when I get up or change positions. I remember googling it obsessively with Kiki. Now I know it's kinda par for the course.
Food cravings? Bread and (vegan) butter. POTATO CHIPS. Give me all of the potato chips. I ate an embarrassingly large bag today that I bought intending to eat throughout the week. Woopsie.
Gender? Boy? Totally could live without sweets these days (other than chocolate). Also, freezing cold all of the time, another"boy" thing. Who knows. Not me.
Labor Signs? Nope.
Belly button in or out? Halfsie.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? Honestly, just exhausted. But happy. But really truly exhausted.
Looking forward to? My 16-week appt. on Tuesday, and a busy weekend ahead celebrating T's 31st birthday! Yowza!

What's everyone else up to this weekend?! I hope you're soaking up this gorgeous weather!
